Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI)
The ILTS Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) Committee's key goal is to facilitate educational and professional development and promote an inclusive working environment for all ILTS members.
Mission statement:
The ILTS Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Committee is committed to promoting a supportive environment for all our members, irrespective of race, ethnicity, gender or sexual orientation. Our key goal is to facilitate educational and professional development and promote an inclusive working environment for all ILTS members.
Our committee was originally founded in 2017 as the International Women in Liver Transplantation Committee. It has since evolved into the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Committee to extend its outreach to an even broader group of ILTS members. We are proud to host the “Women in Liver Transplantation” sessions at our yearly meeting, which have proven to be some of the best-attended sessions.
